Smart For Life Overview

Smart For Life Cookies were created to help people lose weight using a low calorie, meal replacement approach.  With over 40 clinics in North America, Smart for Life is also one of the largest weight management centers in the US.

How does the Smart for Life Cookie Diet work?

The premise of the cookie diet is eating low calorie. You will eat 6 cookies a day and a sensible dinner. Each cookie has a proprietary blend of amino acids, fiber, and vitamins that will offer appetite suppression and reduce hunger cravings throughout the day.

The Smart for Life weight loss program is available in two different formats:

At Home
The"at home" plan is more convenient and less intrusive.  You can simply order online and have the products delivered right to your door.

In Clinic
With their "in clinic" medical program, they offer you direct physician care, meaning you have to schedule an appointment with a certified center. During your visit a complete physical is given, appropriate lab tests, blood work, body scan, etc. You're probably asking if your insurance provider would cover this type of visit and the answer is no. We recommended the in clinic program for those who are dangerously obese.

Smart For Life Testimonials

Most of the testimonials found online were positive with many boasting loses of 10lbs to 15lbs during the first two weeks.  Many of the skeptics were pleased with their first experience and were very willing to purchase again in bulk.  But in our research it was evident that this diet is not for everyone.  The negative reviews and comments were on price and lack of variety.  Some went as far as to call the diet boring.  There are also no consumer discounts and products must be purchased from the official website.

I bought a 42 day program from Costco.com for $199 and so far, so good. I think it's probably best to use it to jump start a more serious look at health and fitness in that no one's going to eat these cookies for life, I don't think. My thinking is that once I get off the extra 15 lbs I've been carrying around, I'll be feeling good and in the mood to really focus. BTW--I actually really like the cookies and I'm kind of picky...

The cookies were actually not that bad. They had kind of a bland taste but they were edible. The after taste wasn't too bad either. But... I don't think I can see myself eating these cookies forever if you know what I mean ;-)

Noticed that you can now buy at Canadian Costco's and online if that helps anyone. Haven't tried it myself nor do I know anyone who has either so I can't help there!

Compared to all the other cookie diets available, I enjoyed the both the cookies and the support provided by Smart For Life the most. I haven't started transitioning back to normal food yet but so far, the support is great.
